I purchased a new washer, dryer and dishwasher from Lowes in November. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I cannot imagine ever buying an appliance from them again. I had to wait 3 weeks for the delivery of the washer and dryer. I made arrangements to be home for the delivery. I got a text that I was the next delivery and then it never came. I spent most of the afternoon being transferred around to different people and being told different things. Ultimately it turned out that the driver skipped my stop without notifying me and I was told there was nothing they could do about it. I had to reschedule and make arrangements to be home for another day. I guess this is to be expected when you outsource your deliveries and then take no accountability for their failures. We came here a few days ago and found just what we needed! We don't have mice anymore because of the magnetic screen we bought. Personally, I like the employees here too, I'm sure the loaders and pro loaders don't have it easy with heavy items, but I think it is actually impressive how they do it in the cold. A worker named Ron was nice to us. And of course the general vibe of the store is layed back. I recommend.

We ordered a dishwasher with installation from Lowe’s on December 18th. According to their emails the dishwasher was picked up by the installer on January 6th and was scheduled to be installed at my home on January 20th. On installation day, the installer called and asked if we had the dishwasher — which we obviously did not. He had no idea where it was. We contacted Lowe’s and they told us they “misplaced” it and would call back. On January 22nd Lowe’s finally contacted us and admitted the dishwasher had been installed in someone else’s home by mistake. Their proposed solution was to go to that person’s house, uninstall the unit they’ve been using for weeks, bring it to our home, reinstall it, and offer a small discount. Kobalt hassle free warranty. I don't think so. I wanted to exchange a broken ratchet. It took 4 people and 15 minutes to tell me I had to go to a store where it was in stock. Is this the first time they encountered this? C'mon. I won't be buying Kobalt hand tools anymore.
