Very helpful staff! Took the time to assist and the share some good humor. Brought in my newly certified service pup and everyone was extremely respectful and courteous of how to treat a service animal! Great store!

This is my favorite Lowe's in York! From a warm welcome by Steve at the pro desk... to employees being helpful even if it's not their department and even if they don't stock something I need they will be honest about it or make absolutely sure they don't have it, while I'm shopping I'm amazed at how many people I see that I haven't seen in years, like this picture of Alex my former student, And when I get to check out the cashiers fight over who wants to serve me :) One day we needed a bunch of conduit and the app said that there was enough but there wasn't enough on the shelf so an employee went and got more than we needed from the stock. Another night not long before closing the cashier was insisting that I get my free snack available through the app. highly recommend two thumbs 👍 👍

I love the West York Lowe's due to the fact I normally find what I need, and even some things I didn't need, that are helpful overall. It does seem like the buttons to alert staff that help us needed in various areas have been removed, in particular was the wood cutting. Finding someone has been difficult the last 2 times I needed things cut in order to get it home. I'm very cautious not to over use this very helpful service and limit my cuts to what is needed to get things in my car. Doug Miller at self checkout is always very pleasant, has a smile, and is great at his job, others are as well. This lady trip a young lady with pink hair assisted us and was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and great at her job. The young gentleman that cut my wood for me was very nice and efficient as well. Th

This place every time I go in there I'm in their practically for over an hour trying to get someone to help you waiting for someone to help you and then when they come help you they said I have to help someone else I'll be right back. They also don't know what gift wrapping tape is in other words if you don't get the right person he's been there long enough to know what they typically have and what they don't have like gift wrapping tape took me over 45 minutes for two different people to say that they had it when they actually did not have it wasted my time for over 45 minutes waiting around until someone finally said that we do not carry that. I would have been better off driving across town to Home Depot because that's about the amount of time that I waste coming into that store asking

I was at Lowe's this morning in York, PA on Carlisle road and was treated disrespectfully when checking out at the self checkout only section. They made me remove 2 totes that were together to prove nothing was stolen. First of all, you make customers ring themselves out then they have prove they are not guilty of theft. If that's how you treat your customers, then you will not be getting my business anymore. Unfortunately I do have to go back to pick up a door I paid for before going to the checkout. Apparently, Lowe's thinks that's how you treat customers. Guilty before proven innocent.
