Lush Planet Electric and Building Sonoma County

We were incredibly lucky to find Mike Stokes with Lush Planet Design Build when we bought an old fixer cabin on the Russian River. His online reviews looked promising, and after Mike visited us at the original 1906 cabin, he decided to take on the job of bringing the cabin to life. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mike and his crew over the course of almost 1 year. Mike handled all building and electric, and together we worked well designing the upgrades to keep the character and charm, creating a gorgeous riverfront getaway. We were impressed with his professionalism, dedication, sustainability practice, and overall fun and creative attitude to work with in what could have been a stressful time. We hope to work with Mike and Lush Planet again sometime.

Mike has done great work for us. From simple change outs of dimmer switches to ceiling fans. Always professional and respectful and knows his stuff. We have more electrical work and some other projects that we can’t wait to get started with him. I highly recommend Mike!

Hell, I just needed an electrician to get my new EV charger working. I had screwed up something when I tried to install it myself. Mike arrived when he said he would, fixed it, and said he would charge less than the price we had agreed on because it was a quick job. Hell no, I said. His price was already low. Since he was standing under my garage door that hadn't closed properly for a while, I asked him if he could fix that. He had to order a new part, but he fixed it. My old refrigerator had 12 things wrong with it. I hesitated to ask an electrician to try to fix it because I probably needed a magician, but he was on a roll, so I asked. It took him a while, but he fixed it. Hell yes, I recommend him. Competent, quick, fair. Nice guy too.

Mike did an outstanding job repairing my home office. He did the work efficiently, properly, and at an exceedingly competitive rate. He’s honest, skilled, and fair; what more could you ask for?
