Resort Living at Home! There is really no other way to describe what was created at our home by Mike and his crew. It is with great enthusiasm that I submit this review for Pools & Waterfalls by Mike Hodak. Mike stepped in when our previous pool contractor backed out of the contract we had with him. We could not be more pleased that Mike made room in his very busy schedule for our project. The result is nothing short of spectacular. He started by reshaping the yard and bringing in the large, natural boulders that would become the frame for our pool and waterfall. Because it is a free form process that Mike uses he was able to shape the pool to perfectly fit our space making the area look completely natural. They made suggestions and helped us with the design so that our pool fit appropriately in our space, and gave us ideas we would not have otherwise thought of. Mike Hodak had a vision for our backyard space that involved our general concept but he truly turned out a hidden oasis. Our waterfall is the focal point and the ideas that Mike added surrounding it created an entertaining space that we use year-round. I know that if I have a question about maintenance, STILL TO THIS DAY I can call Pools and Waterfalls and Mike himself or his contractors will come and look things over and offer suggestions. Our waterfall is not just beautiful, it provides a peaceful sound and the healthy pond filled with fish continues to bring us the relaxing atmosphere we hoped for.

We could not be more pleased with our final pool renovation project! Every detail from the materials down to the elevation change near the back porch was planned with a creative and experienced eye. It is hard to imagine how you all did this with a PERFECT finish in every way. We were lucky that you returned our call for help on that fateful day when our old pool had reached the end of its useful life! We love the shape inside the pool. The higher elevation is a perfect area to “water walk” for exercise and the bottom allows for treading water. It has every imaginable feature; the LED lighting provides a contemporary and fresh appearance next to the beautiful fireplace.
