As a new customer, I requested an order for soapstone firebricks via email and received a response within an hour! Team members (Jeniece and Maria) were responsive with order details, options and photos of the products available. I was pleasantly surprised as my order was not a large purchase and they not only accommodated fulfilling the order but also treated me welcomingly. Email communications throughout were professional and friendly. I requested to pickup my order onsite (soapstone is heavy, even firebricks in quantity) and they have flexible scheduling. Camila, who owns the business with her husband Roger, could not have been more helpful, patient, thoughtful, and kind throughout the process. She truly was a joy to work with. We also purchased a gorgeous Carrara marble countertop from them. Our new home was made all the more special with the stunning countertops we purchased from M. Teixera. As a former owner of a UPS Store for 20 years, I know what it takes to run a business. Let me tell you, these guys do it as well as anyone can, from the equipment they use to the quality of the stone to the personnel to the pricing!

Beautiful soapstone counters! I went with the spider soapstone as they were having a sale on those slabs and I love the veining. Alex worked with me from start to finish, which was a long time due to construction delays! They were very accommodating to my delays but when they were ready they came and templated and installed the counters efficiently. They install team even oiled them at my request and you can see in the photos what a difference that makes! I highly recommend Teixeira soapstone - they were professional every step of the way!
