M Teixeira Soapstone II

We love our soapstone counter top! Based on a recommendation from our architect, we reached out to Teixeira Soapstone. Francesco quoted us pricing, let us pick our stone and waited patiently until we were ready for installation. The crew that came out to measure and returned for installation were pleasant, efficient, and everything looks great. Can't wait to move in and start enjoying them.

We had looked all over for green soapstone and were considering having it shipped from the east coast when we came across Teixeira. We visited the store in SF and were able to pick out two lovely slabs. The held them for us until the cabinets were ready and came all the way to Carmel Valley to template and later to install our countertops, fireplace hearth, and surround. They did a spectacular job - the counters were even more beautiful than we hoped. Great skilled artisans - and very nice as well. We're so grateful to have found them.

I had a great experience buying from them. When I needed to go to the showroom, they were super professional and quick to set everything up. They're very responsive to emails and calls, and the entire team is on time and professional. The process of having measurements taken and having my countertop installed was super smooth and seamless, and I couldn't have hoped for more.

Francesco, Christine, Simon and Rogelio provided flawless and punctual service and installation. Our new countertops look great! We used Texeira 8 years ago in our old house and the experience was the same then: great service and beautiful results.

In addition to fine products and service these folks are artists. We wanted a few curves and specialty pieces and they came out great. Not only that but when the whole gang of them came to install the pieces - some of which took four guys to carry - they actually seemed like they were having fun.
