Main Street Parking Deck (Free)

Gainesville can't keep the elevator working at these parking decks. Poor job, Gainesville.

I went to eat and have a good time with my friends. I decided to go to the top floor to see the view. I wasn't up there more than 5 minutes until a female security guard approached me and asked me to go back down in a whisper tone. I couldn't hear what she said so as I got closer to her truck her whispers got lower and lower. I finally understood what she was saying and and left. Do better

Really convenient parking deck on the Gainesville Square. The entrance is right across the street from The Collegiate and it connects to the Brenau Downtown Center. Save yourself the time of circling endlessly trying to find a limited parking spot on the Square. Just park here, walk an extra 100 feet and get to your Downtown Drafts flight or Sweet Magnolia’s chicken sandwich with a lot less frustration! Best part…it is FREE!!

This is one thing Gainesville does right. Free parking right on the square (and everywhere) encourages us to patronize downtown businesses. I would totally avoid downtown if I had to pay for parking.

I love the free downtown Gainesville parking. I would like to know who is responsible for cleaning the elevators. They are really disgusting.
