WARNING for people new to the real estate game. This man, Mr. Mario Elizondo, is a scammer. He told me all about his personal life in order to "relate." Then, he pursuaded me to buy a property with no COO, way over value, from someone he probably has made a side deal with. He took no responsibility financially but promised to do the rehab at no cost to get the home up to code as his "stake in the game." I trusted that he would hold up his side of the deal. After I closed on the house was done, he did nothing. The home had been vacant for months but when I purchased the home, all of a sudden all of the piping had been removed (and probably sold for money), the electrical was torn down and though I barely hear from him after I bought the home, he called me to let me know about the incident
