Marios Tree Service

If I could give negative marks I would. They came today per the request of PGandE. I did not get a call when they would be coming. They just showed up. They butchered the tree in the back that was supposed to be trimmed due to power lines. Also they got the whole side of my truck dirty from them breaking down the branches with their machine and to top it off I came home to find my gate was left open to my back yard which leads to the side of my house open all day. They left at 9:44 and I didn't get home until 2:30. How I know is from the ring camera from the front of my home and the back. Poor business practices from this company. With all the negative reviews I'm surprised they are still in business. I know if I need work done again I will never call on them or recommend them to anyone.

They came and started chopping the tree without informing me. They let tree limbs and debris hit our tractor and trailer. They bent the wire fence. Then they started cutting my trees in the front yard that are not located by any power lines. I had to call the sheriff out to stop them. The power line is on the opposite side of the street.

Mario's Tree Service cleared and cut down some trees away from power lines as directed by PG&E. While they did the job and did that portion well, they left me a huge problem of massive tree trunks and logs laying on my property when I had asked them to cut them up into something manageable. My 16" chainsaw was way undersize, I would have had to buy an expensive professional chainsaw to tackle this headache. I instead enlisted the services of Lone Pine Tree Company and they cut them down to reasonable sizes at a good price. Not Impressed with Mario's Tree Service.

This company came out per pg&e. Not only did they scare the crap out of my little sister by just walking onto to the property up to the front door completely unannounced with absolutely no prior notice that they would be coming at all, but they DESTROYED my cherry tree! This was a very sentimental tree and it was its first year in fruit, and before I could get out there to harvest them, over half of its branches are gone!! Not even an apology was given! I get it’s just a tree but, it was well onto my property, so they should have had no reason to be near it. On top of all of this, they left us with a mess that we now have to clean. Absolutely horrible service and horrible business practice.

Avoid at all costs!! If I had the option to give less than one star, I would. While I didn’t call this company directly, they responded as a contractor to clear a heritage oak tree that fell over in the recent storms. I know nothing about tree trimming and I could have done a better job. Granted they were here to clear the tree from the lines it brought down but I had more damage to my property after they left than before they showed up. Not only did they do a haphazard job breaking down the oak tree, they decided it was okay to allow large limbs they were trimming to fall wherever the heck gravity chose to bring them down. If that meant destroying my fence, 3 other trees, and whatever landscaping existed, they didn’t care. Also, they decided it was okay to just swing their chainsaws where
