Redoing the waterproofing they failed to do when putting in a new tub and tile. Stay away even if your insurance agent recommends them. I had a 32,000 insurance job done by them and now I find out the failed to properly waterproof behind the tile next to tub. They won’t stand behind their poor quality work. I have water damage again going to cost another $5000.00 plus and insurance says because it’s faulty workmanship the the contractor should fix it and they have not done anything after 2.5 months. Stay away from Mark Scott Construction. Or you could be sorry like I am. Randy

One of the best builder we have ever worked with. We had a fire damage in our house and we picked them to rebuild it after getting referrals from others and reviewing their bid. It turned out to be one of our best decisions recently. They are honest and very professional, always try their best to keep customers happy even sometimes it means extra works or costs on their side. They do things very transparently and communicate well to avoid confusion and surprises. One thing very impressive is they are very experienced working with insurance company, which makes additional claims and adjustments effortless for us given their trusting relationship with the insurance companies. By the end we are very happy with their works’ quality and everything else related to the project.

Mark Scott Construction is a class act. From the start, I received personal courteous and timely service. David Bergamini, General manager and senior estimator of Mark Scott Construction, telephoned me on the phone and immediately came to my home to evaluate the situation. The crew of Mark Scott construction began working immediately. They were professional and fixed my problem here caused by a ruptured water line. I couldn’t have asked for a better staff, friendlier service, or more competent service. Their work is amazing. They are top-of-the-line. Their office people are kind. Their prices are fair and i highly recommend them.

I will be nice and give 3 stars because this company did not do a job for me, but showed very poor driving skills in a company truck. Yesterday around 9:30AM an employee from this company was driving Truck #206 from Fairfield and deliberately went straight in a right turn lane, cutting off traffic in front of him in Pleasant Hill on Contra Costa Blvd. If the car in front of me had been going straight like I was, it could have caused an accident. I personally drive a company truck as well and as someone representing a company on the road you need to be a model driver, not cutting people off. There was not a long wait in the straight/left turn lane, there was maybe 4 cars in total. I am well aware that this has nothing to do with the work of the company, but I do believe representation

This company promised lots, took over a month, never got a bid together, no contract, no return calls, no return emails. Dave Berg stalled us and stalled us so now we have been out of our house for 6 weeks. It's because of them we have gotten nothing done, our insurance agent was even complaining at their lack of doing anything so I fired them and got another company. If I'm given a schedule or even told I need to wait, I'm ok but I couldn't even get a return call. My advice to all of you, stay away!
