Marriott Inner Harbor - LAZ Parking - Medco

We have stayed at the Marriott for almost 2 weeks now, everyone at the hotel are awesome! But the LAZ overcharged us by forcing a $40 event parking instead of hotel parking, charged us for the week without discounting the already paid amount, charged us more than the hotel daily with a smile, then blamed us for not knowing the difference. Bless him! I must come back Monday, not a holiday, here for a medical issue for my family at the Medical Center - so this problem will be ongoing, and I will send my concerns to Bonvoy.

Ripoff artists. They charge $34 for up to 24 hours. Last week they charged me $74 to park 14 hours. I pulled in at 10am for an all-day meeting across the street. Only when pulling in am I informed that there is a $40 rate due to an Orioles game that afternoon. OK fine, I'll pay an extra $6. No biggie. When I go to exit at 11pm I scan my pre-paid ticket and the machine says I owe an additional $34. The attendant on duty tells me to pay it and just call the number on the receipt and I will be refunded. I do so in the morning and the person let's me know that I am SOL - my $40 prepaid parking was only good for 10 hours and I stayed for 14, so I owe another $34. Parked here overnight because we stayed at the Hampton Inn and getting in there with a street closure for the game was a little dicey. We entered the garage around 6:30pm and there was an Orioles game starting at 7pm so it was a $40 prepaid flat rate, $10 more than the usual $30 for 24 hours posted rate. We figured meh, we'd just eat it since the hotel would have charged the same anyway and we don't have to deal with a valet tip or the weird road closure situation. But then the ticket printed as expiring in 10 hours, which would be when we were still sleeping! Dang. Bought an online parking pass for a concert at CFG Bank Arena. It was a little pricey, but it was about the same as any other garage in the area. It’s a short walk to the arena and we got in and out super fast.

Booked a parking spot in advance for the play off games, when we got to the lot a half hour before game time, they told us the lot was full. Do not even attempt. Save your money and book somewhere else.
