Marriott/Capitol District Parking Garage

Worst parking garage experience in years. The exit arm was non existent when I went to pay. Service machine wouldn't accept voucher. Tried the assistance button several times for Marriott Hotel (front desk and owners of the garage) picked up and just hung up. After 5 minutes of no service, left and drove around the block to the Marriott Hotel that owns the garage. Was approached by the vallet server and was told the front desk was too busy to help and probably just hung up the service call. Seemed suspicious and a scam for a ticket later on If someone didn't pay for parking. Drove back around to the Marriott parking garage and a attendant just finished working on fixing the exit ticket machine. Paid my parking fee and left. Such shady practices.

Nice, quiet hotel. Free parking in their garage. Room lack in cleanliness but enjoyed our stay

This has, by far, been our favorite hotel to stay at. The staff was exceptional, the room newer and very clean. We were there a week and breakfast varied a bit each day. The price was reasonable. We had a king with sofa and kitchenette. No pool, which is likely why we didn't see many young children. Though, it was disappointing for me not to have a hot tub. Mattress comfort is very personal, however, my husband and I both agreed the mattress was way too firm which is the reason for a 4 star. We did love the water can we were given at check-in that could be refilled. The location to get to the train (light line) was 2 blocks away and very easy to use. It takes too long to check in, I already had a reservation.They act like it was their first day, no parking unless you pay for it. The bar had four people working, not crowded and still took five minutes to get any service.No free breakfast buffet.Water in shower sucked,no pressure at all, good luck 🤞 lucky they got a one ⭐.

This parking garage does not tell you when they are at capacity. It’s scary on a busy Saturday evening when you reach the 6th floor and there is a line of cars in front of you turning around because there is no exit!! It’s even more scary when cars have decided to park in the designated turn around spot at the top of the garage. This garage is not worth the headache and price in my opinion.
