Maryland Carpet & Tile

We hired Maryland Carpet and Tile for two houses and were very impressed with their work. The crew refinished hardwoods, put down new carpet, and laid a new kitchen floor. The finished product was great and they went the extra mile with some extras touches to make the floors even better. Jacob was excellent to work with and we'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Everything started out smoothly. Jacob arrived to my house and we discussed the project we wanted done. Replace laminate flooring with carpet for the majority of our basement. Carpet was supposed to go all the way to the pillar shown in the picture. Jacob explained that due to where the laminate was installed, they were able to get very close to the pillar, roughly 1 inch away. We agreed to this and a quote was received and approved. When the installers arrived, I explained to them everything as I explained to Jacob, including installation up to the pillar. They asked if they were doing the stairs too, and I said no. This should have been the first red flag of miscommunication. When the work was done, I noticed that the carpet did not reach the pillar as we have discussed. It was roughly
