These guys tried charging me $325 to replace the fill valve in my toilet. I told them, respectfully, I wasn’t going to pay $325 for that yet they asked me numerous times if I wanted them to do it. Then their manager or owner pulled up in his truck and personally asked me why I didn’t want it. I informed it that I knew it would only cost me $15 at Walmart and 20 minutes of mine. Then they showed me a leaky valve that was never leaky before they arrived and has not leaked since they left, and told me it would usually be an easy replacement to make but due to the location of the valve, they would either have to cut through my wall to get to it, or replace all of the piping, which would run me $825.
