Mathias Lock and Key, Inc

I've been a customer of Mathias for about 8 years and I regret making the decision to do business with them. The staff is incredibly rude and sexist and to top it off they can't even cut a key correctly. We've returned multiple sets over the years because they didn't work. Slow service, poor quality and rude staff. I'd recommend checking out the competition.

I just went to get copies of a key made and now I won't be going anywhere else in the future. Fast, friendly service, prices significantly better than the grocery store kiosks or similar services. 10/10 would recommend.

This vendor charges people in affordable housing $700+ for lockouts. They use locksets that automatically lock when closed. The lock shrouds are not secure and thus the locks are easy to defeat. They stamp all their keys DND, which is especially annoying after they lose their contract for the aforementioned predatory pricing. These are the facts. Judge for yourself. Personally, I'll bet they are great to work with as a landlord or property manager bc they pass the costs on to residents. It's a clever scheme, bravo. However, good luck terminating business with them when your tenants are held for ransom. It will be a very expensive exit. Edit: Re your response- your price is not "standard". Jeremy was incredibly experienced with door mechanics & fittings, as everything went according to plan.
