Warranty is worthless. I have had this roof for 9 years. Developed a roof leak during Labor Day weekend. Called Tuesday and was told only one person handled warranty claims. Heard nothing all day. Called at 4 pm and was then told he would be out all week and no one else was available. Sent an email to prove date I contacted. Next Sunday new spot was leaking. Still no contact. Unprofessional! No return phone call or email. *Update: On the date this review was posted, Mr. McCarthy tried to contact us and stated they would honor the warranty however after 2 weeks of no contact and a forecast of heavy rains, we had already contracted another company to identify and fix the leak. *Update 2: Mr. McCarthy did reach out to me. I am the owner of a 19 yr. Old Classic Metal roof and Mc Carthy Roofing's number was given to me by the manufacturer, based in Ohio. The manufacturer said McCarthy Roofing is representing Classic Roofing products in this area. I needed to have the flue removed, since I don't have a conventional gas furnace or gas water heater any more. When I called them, the lady on the phone had the audacity to tell me the following: We did not install your metal roof, therefore we don't do any repairs to it. She suggested to me that I needed a new roof. After I told her how ridiculous her answer was, she said that someone else from her company would call me. We were looking for a permanent, aesthetically pleasing alternative to typical shingles and found it with our metal roof. Through the entire process everyone was professional and informative. Our roof looks great and we feel so relieved to know it is taken care of for good! The crew working on the roof was always on time and cleaned up after themselves each day.
