McDonald Supply - Waterloo

Just walked in and didn't need an appointment. Jackie was awesome. Tons of good ideas and very helpful. Definitely my new go to place. Prices very near what the big box stores have, and the staff actually knows what they are doing unlike the big box stores.

Very disappointing. Building a new home should be fun and exciting. But our plumber asked us to go in to McDonald Supply to pick out fixtures and I was greeted with a very unpleasant woman. I was informed I needed an appointment(even though no one was there) So I made an appointment. Same woman, a little nicer. Several months later when we were ready for fixtures I contacted them to ask about the fixtures and if she(same woman) could get the information to the plumber. She was again rude, again I was asked to make an appointment. Really? What for? I already picked out the items that I wanted her to send a list of to my plumber. I ended up going to a different supply co and actually paying a little bit more(not much) because the service was so much nicer. Id rather pay more and be treated
