Our heating system (gas packaged unit)was not working on the coldest day of the year. I was afraid the plumbing in the house may break due to the extreme cold. I called McGee Heating and Air and was told a service Technician could be at the home in just 4 hours. I received a phone call from Jon B, the service technician, stating we was on the way and was earlier than expected. He actually arrived at our home before i did and was waiting patiently for me. He was polite and was attentive when I described the problem and symptoms of my heating system. Jon B went straight to work, troubleshooting the system and took the time to explain to me what he found. My unit had a bad blower motor and he explained how he found that. I very highly recommend McGee Heating & Air! I called McGee H&A to schedule an appointment bc my house was not getting any heat…of course it happened during the coldest weather this year. First, I was surprised to a human actually answered the phone rather than having to leave a msg and wait for a call back. Scheduler was very friendly and considering my situation scheduled me that very day. Rick came and thoroughly checked out my system. He got it running temporarily (a big relief) but said it would not last long. I knew it was old and was going to need replacement soon. He asked if I’d like a home comfort specialist to talk to me about replacement. I said yes and Rick contacted someone directly and a couple hrs later, Erik came to my house. Eric was very professional, he put his shoe protectors on as soon as he got into my home. He walked me through his process as he found issues and explained how he would fix the issue and he also walked me step by step through his top to bottom inspection. He has the ability to to take a novice like myself and enlighten me on the issues of my furnace. I was educated by a highly trained HVAC technician, and if I request a service in the future from your company, I would truly like to have Eric come to my home and service my equipment. McGee Heating & Air recently replaced our heat pump and old AC unit with a new Trane gas furnace and new AC unit. Their sales representative, Erik Rooney was very helpful. He did an excellent job laying out the facts and there were no high-pressure tactics. The install was scheduled for 1 day, but there were a number of issues that had to be addressed and the actual install took 3 days. The installation took a different direction from what we had expected, but it vastly improved the efficiency of the units. Wesley, the lead installer, was meticulous in his work habits and was ably assisted by Jake and others. Installation was beautifully done and the cleanup was exceptional. When our AC quit working I called McGee, all of their technicians were tied up so instead of putting me off, their service manager Tony came out within the hour! He quickly diagnosed our issue. Daniel ended up getting us back up and running! Both guys were great and I appreciate them going out of their way to take care of us!
