McVey Mowing

Had McVey Mowing do some landscaping/landscaping maintenance and it turned out fantastic. Ben and his team were great to work with and I plan to use them for future projects.

They do a nice job but insist on mowing weekly regardless of whether my grass has grown. They advertise, “mow as needed” but they determine whether it’s needed. I tell them to stop. They keep coming & charging. Yikes! UPDATE: CEO was very responsive to this post. Seems like a genuinely nice guy who seeks to do right. He apologized, corrected my bill, and says he’s updated the automated system that schedules his teams according to my preference. Kudos for his professionalism.

I contacted McVey Mowing for a spring clean up after noticing the work the company had done on a neighbor’s yard. I could not have been more satisfied with the results. Ben and his employees were very pleasant. They did a excellent job removing leaves and debris from the beds, edging the beds, trimming shrubs, and installing mulch. The cost of this service was entirely reasonable. I highly recommend McVey Mowing.

We use McVey Mowing as our lawn care for the past several years at an apartment complex that I am the property manager of. The below comment from "Sally Bell" is a fake account as I do not have a resident by that name. We have no issue with the lawn care service as they have always done an amazing job, on time or even early. We have also used McVey for our snow removal services. Definitely recommend!

We have used McVey Mowing for the past 8+ years. Ben does an amazing and beautiful job on our lawn. We have been so very pleased with their many services and our lawn always looks gorgeous! We have had neighbors inquire about who does our lawn, because it always looks so nice... which in turn, they have hired Ben to do theirs as as well, and couldn't be happier. The guys are all super kind and friendly, and very particular with the clean up afterwards. We highly recommend this company to others!!!
