Mead Lumber of Laurel

Hours say they are supposed to be open on Saturday until noon. They won't answer the phone. It just goes to a full mailbox. I just had a simple question to ask. I'm not driving 20 miles round trip to find out they are closed or don't have what I need.

I have a project next to me and the lumber company (NOT MEAD) did damage to my property. The developer had made a mistake thought the lumber came out of Laurel. I call and talked with owner and his concern was more than I expected and came to house within an hour or two to look at the damages. Turns out it was a company out of Billings. When I need lumber in the future, I will definitely be using Mead lumber!

I was there last Wednesday around 2 and whoever was helping me decided to take a personal call for five minutes and left me waiting. tribble way to treat a customer.

Laurels best option for lumber. Great guys. Store has a nice tool selection and Dewalt display. If you need plumbing supplies go to Ace. My only wish? they had better Saturday hours and closed an hour later midweek.

Always hate to see negative reviews on places I thought were great. Fair and square. Good on returns and deliveries. Very impressed with velux windows- quality of pella or Anderson at near half the price. Prompt in replacing broken window on delivery.
