Pretty sure this company is a scam had them out for hour. And charge me a $300 diagnostic fee I called three times to get a proposal or have them back out without a response. I hired another company who came out for free and ended up signing the $36,000 contract for two new HVAC units. Seems like they are just out to get the diagnostic fee but not interested in actually writing proposal or installing any systems. Also they never mentioned an inspection fee until after the appointment. I contacted my bank to cancel payment as I never received anything

Just got a call from Mike from Melroy Plumbing- no one in my household has reached out to them at all- As a woman, it was very scary, as it sounded like they were trying to see if I was home and there was no probable cause for a question like that. “Hi it’s Mike from Melroy Plumbing- How are you? Are you home?”Just very sketchy, so I hung up. In the future, should I need any assistance, I will not be reaching out to them as I wouldn’t feel safe with them in my home.

When we bought our home the only issue that needed to be repaired was the Central Air. The Seller brought in Melroy which did just over 4 figures worth of work to the system to repair a coolant leak and gave it a clean bill of health. Two weeks after closing we were not convinced the AC was working right. I called Melroy who sent a Tech out, they charged $96 for a service call and said everything was fine. Two weeks after that the house would not cool below 85, so we called Melroy again. They said we were low on coolant but were adamant that the system was not leaking. $200 some dollars later we had more coolant and the system was working fine again. They said if it leaked again they would have to do more extensive and expensive leak tests. 2 weeks later, the AC is not cooling again

Mlroy provided Excellent sevice on a Class A Coach AC and heating system. He was thorough in all aspects of the repairs. He spent as much time as was required to evaluate explain and cost the project. For the excellnt price quoted he not only did the repairs but went over the whole system tracing and cleaning all connections and equipment. When he was finished he totally explained the whole system and future maintenance that was required. Note the system was NOT a simple system which I could not figure out as a retired Engineer. YES!!! Don't call these folks if you need a repair!!! Almost destroyed my unit! Thank God for my son, who came in and cleaned up their mess! My son discover that it was only the THERMOSTAT!!! The guy never even looked at it!!! went straight to the basement fumbled around for 8 minutes and charged me 180.00. !!! A left me with NO HEAT WITH SNOW ON THE GROUND!!!
