It should not take from 11 am to 3pm to clean and oil an out door air condition compressor. (but it did). It shouldn't cost 389 dollars to do the service, when for the last 5 years they charged 189 dollars. He shouldn't have to use my shop vacuum and garden hose to do it ( but he did) It shouldn't take him 30 minutes to fill out the one page bill ( but it did) Until last year; the technicians were polite,competent and fast. (NOT ANY MORE ) All I asked for was to have the spring cleaning and inspection. Instead I was shown how well made the unit is and that it needed a 500 dollar point set ( Maybe so: but he won't get the job) There is NO WAY I'll ever use this company again. How in the world can a company charge almost $700 to replace some AA batteries & AC filter, hose off a unit and replace a $20 capacitor???? Luckily, we asked them to leave before they could rip us all the way off, but it still cost $160 just for the first 3 things - which is still completely insane. What a bunch of unethical crooks!!!! The technicians we polite enough but hopefully will go to another more honest company and this place will close down like it needs to. Shame on you Hibner!

HIGHWAY ROBBERY-LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE: Please heed my warning and avoid this company at all costs. Don't be like me and ignore the well-earned one star rating. Hibner only gets a 1-star rating because zero stars is not an option. I will never get back the money that I lost, but I hope I can save someone else. I scheduled an appointment with Jim (who turns out to be both a technician and also the proprietor of this Ponzi scheme) for 3pm on a Friday. He told me that if he came after 5 pm or during a weekend, it would cost extra for overtime. As a medical resident it can be pretty tough for me to break away from the hospital. DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Guy came into our house. Really creepy looking. Told my dad he was in pain and went back into his van and took a pill. My dad had to catch him because he almost fell over. I was in the house and all I could hear was banging. I was so scared. Cops got involved and the high as hell AC guy got put in the back of a cop car. DO NOT DO NOT use this service.

Buyer beware. Go to the BBB and read complaints forget the rating. He prices at a 2000+ markup on parts. He takes advantage of people that are in emergency situations and the elderly. I have filed various complaints with the BBB, the licensing board and consumer affairs. Still pending investigation. And his license expired in 2010.
