Menards

Menard's could easily become one of my new favorite stores. Where I had always viewed it as a hardware store, imagine my surprise to find it to be a store with virtually everything that one needs for the home. Everything from food items to lighting to bathroom fixtures to indoor/outdoor furniture and so much more. All these items are neatly displayed in a massive two floor building. There is also an elevator as well as an electric walkway to get you from one floor level to another with ease. I would highly recommend visiting the Evendale Menard's the next time that you're looking for pretty much anything for your home.

We had such a great experience at Menards thanks to Zacc. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind from start to finish. It’s rare to come across customer service like this these days, and Zacc truly went above and beyond. Menards is lucky to have him!

Went to exchange propane tank easy enough right ? Wrong. I walk in the door stand around looking for help. I go to the customer service part infromt of the cashiers. Short black women and average white male where gossiping. I had to interrupt them even though im standing 2 feet away from them. I ask to exchange the propane tank and they dont even listen they just immediately start brow beating me about me having an empty tank with me in store. The mock me be saying cant you read it says it on the propane cage.... excuse me I have been nothing but respectfully this entire time. I apologize and take it back to my van. On my way back in the gentleman that was gossiping with the lady followed me out just to again brow beat me about taking the tank to my van. Im sorry I dont want the tank stole

If I could rate them lower I totally would. We bought a leaf blower a couple weeks ago. Came home took it out of the box. Was about to put gasoline in it until I saw the primer switch broken. I stopped immediately and splashed very little gas in the tank. I was told later that day (when I went back to this store) that my only option is to take it to an approved Repair Center to see if they could repair it and/or provide a letter of return. One of the approved repair centers I went to said they would most likely not be able to repair it and do not provide letters of return. So went back to Menards to explain to them again where we are at and what the repair center said. They said they can't give me more approved repair center. I had nothing but issues coming to this location. Man at Guest services wanted to get an attitude because I was at the wrong counter near the Exit. "Meeka" at the Returns counter, wanted to reiterate that I "didn't read the packaging" for a utility knife, well excuse me for not knowing all knives need to be "halfway" closed to insert a new blade? Btw, I can tell she never read a nutritional label.. 👀 I will never come back to this location because of this sort of spiteful behavior from the staff.
