Menards

I am a fan of Menards, true and blue all the way. I prefer the Rice Lake location though. This location always seems to rub mw the wrong way when I ask questions or ask for help. It has always been that way too. Not sure why this seems to be a struggle. I asked the manager on duty today if I needed an 11% off rebate as I was leaving, or whether it was even going on. It felt like he was shouting at me stating that the only current rebate were listed in the ad. Ive also found that Rice Lake has people that are always willing and offering to be helpful out in the yard. At this location, it's nearly impossible to ask for it. Menards always has what I need. They have boatloads of just about anything you could imagine, its nice having a Menards in town. Some of the workers there seem a little unpleasant though. The older workers are nice but the younger workers seem displeased for some reason. Last year around Christmas I believe I worked with the rudest girl I have ever experienced. She was blonde with a wide, powerful hunter-gatherer build. When I approached her in the lightbulb she was pinch faced and would not say a word to me, brought me to what I was looking for while maintaining that foul look then grimaced and walked away when I thanked her and told her to have a nice day. Menards in St Croix Falls WI is my favorite. Easy access. Lots of parking. Very helpful folks working there. I may be addicted to lower prices, and better quality lumber.

I'll tell you how my experience was. I got mad it made me realize that the rich our government and John Menard. Are slowly killing us all.. since covid my wages have steadily decreased. The owner of Menards? Profits in the billions. More than you and I could ever imagine. $16 for a 5-pound box of nails. Ban me from the store. Then I'll finally save big money.

Just went into menards on my way to help friends with a broken down car (battery issues.) First not a single person helped me or was available as I walked through the store. As I was checking out with jumping cables, I got a call from my friend that I needed to pick up a new battery. I told the clerk that I had to go back into the store to get a car battery now as I was resolving car issues, he kinda of laughed and handed me my receipt as I went back into the store. Then I went to find the battery, I was followed by two employees as well as the clerk, although none stopped to ask if I needed help. I was unable to find the battery I needed, so I was going to leave. As I was leaving the manager stopped me and asked to see my bag since I went back into the store. Without hesitation, I handed
