Menards

I was looking for a light fixture. I spent 40 minutes clearly wandering around the light fixture area puzzled. Looked at various options, opened boxes, compared light bulbs, etc. This guy sat like this the entire time while many people scooted around him. Many were there as long as I was. Another worker came and went straight to the little desk area and also ignored the many customers in the section. This is just one example of nearly EVERY time I am at Menards. So incredibly frustrating. Menards needs to do a better job training their workers regarding customer service. The reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that there was a good selection.

Ordered off the app(website) and had issues getting my package delivered due to ups delays. I needed it and decided to buy elsewhere. The package finally got delivered after being delayed for 5 days from the expected delivery date. I went to return it and the store manager slapped a 25% restocking fee on when I returned it. He said it’s not Menards problem and very much had an arrogant, rude attitude. I’ve been a customer for years and now I’m done with Menards. There are many other places to spend your hard earned money. I know it was UPS that delayed everything and caused the issue, but Menards needs to stand behind their product and service from start to finish even if they hire a third party such as ups to deliver and they failed miserably. I AM PRETTY UPSET. THEY LEFT ME HELPLESS WITH THAT AIR COMPRESSOR! THEY TOOK IT APART OFF CRATE AND PUT TRAILER AND LEFT AND LAUGHING AT ME I PAID THOUSAND DOLLAR AND TREATED ME A SHITTY CUSTOMER!!!

Very disappointing! Purchased 2 xmas totes, when I arrived home noticed one of the lids was missing. Spoke with a hardware manager to see if the lid could be set aside at customer service desk. Since I didn't want to travel on terrible roads and pick up today, that was not an option. He would rather I return item if it wasn't laying around somewhere in there store. Does it have to be this difficult? No-it is called customer service!!

Who doesn't like Menards? I've always thought that Menards has done a good job. The product selection is very good. Today I found some good deals on stuff I can use for woodworking! Thanks.
