Merit Restorations worked with me on the water mitigation and rebuild of the first floor of our home. We were stressed out and managing a lot of this for the first time and their team was super helpful in explaining the entire process and I felt informed any time I had to make a decision regarding the rebuild or what to do next. I worked with James and Jason and both of them were super friendly, responsive, and wonderful to work with. SO grateful for their expertise and help in rebuilding our home! Recently, we experienced a significant leak in an upstairs bathroom that was ongoing for some time. We did not recognize any signs of the leak, but once it became evident, we knew we needed immediate action for remediation and rebuilding. We were very fortunate to reach out to Merit restorations and again was very fortunate, indeed to be connected with Jose Martinez, the project manager for Merit. Our initial contact with Mr. Martinez provided a detailed overview of the scope of the work and the outstanding team of professionals to handle remediation, repairing the damage as a result of water leaks. I am very impressed with how Jose takes his pride in what he does to make I’m happy with the process and the finish products. Merit has the best people working for them. Thank you Jose! We had water leak from dishwasher into living room. Jason is our guy! He is very responsive, awesome communicating with me about what is going on and even help me troubleshooting when our power tripping. He is so easy to work with and REACHABLE! Folks! I hope you never need restoration services for your home, but if you do, do yourself a favor and call Merit Restorations immediately (Chesapeake). From the very first day, Mr. Jake Wood (Branch Lead) and Mr. James Farris (Project Manager) Chesapeake were on top of their game. Everything was explained to me as they took the steps necessary to remediate my home. The Project Manager kept constant communication with me and assigned contractors to my home (JNM Drywall - Norfolk and Kelly Karpets - Virginia Beach) and I would hire those contractors in the future (if needed). Mr. Farris assured me his assigned work crews would take care of my home.
