Would give 0 stars if I could…terrible company service and they literally lie or something because we called numerous times to cancel our account and they would never close and then charge us and then when I call again they say that never happened then we have late fees and leans put on our house.. we cancelled our account for the 5 time hopefully it’s actually cancelled this time.

The customer service is awful. Then they make a money off consumers yet their So cheap that they can’t afford a return envelope. Then they will put a lien on your property even though they claim on your property bill was sent to you before they put a lien on your property they lie to protect their behinds.

Merrillville Conservancy District is a company that don't mind taking advantage of their customers. I had a bill due date on April 15th, which was a Saturday and this company is closed on weekends. So I pay my bill Monday and this bogus thirsty money hungry company charged me a late fee which should be illegal. Most moral credible companies allow you to pay your bill the following business day if your bill due date falls on a weekend or holiday. I file a complaint with this company and a representative responded with how Merrillville Conservancy District has multiple payment options and all their payment options include a fee to pay your bill which is shady. This representative goes on to include that paying with a card, fees would go up from $2.95 to $3.45 May 8th, 2023 and this represe

This company does poor customer service and goes through a third party to allow you to pay online and CHARGE you a fee even for using your checking account. No other company that I pay, using my checking account, i.e. credit card companies, American Water, NIPSCO, Hospitals, Doctors, the list goes on. I understand if they want to be cheap and make you pay using your debit or credit card, but NOT your checking account. Poor Customer Service ALL AROUND

I can’t remember the name of the lady I talked to, but she was very nice and patiently waiting explained everything to me.
