I didn't know how quickly they might be able to arrange their initial visit, and was delighted that they were available to clean my house the very next day. It's been awhile since I had someone come in to clean for me, and it was immediately apparent that professionals can do so much more - and so much better - than I can on my own. Summary: Merry Maids of Athens left my home cleaner overall, but their “deep clean” fell short of expectations. They claim that two people can deep clean a home in 3 hours (or 6 if only one person), but even with 15 hours billed, many basic areas were missed or barely touched. My home was already fairly clean before they arrived, yet details like window trims, blinds, baseboards, floors, and small appliances were left dirty or overlooked. Their attention to detail was exceptional, every surface sparkled and the home has never looked or smelled this fresh. Our tenants had pets, and they completely eliminated any lingering pet odors, leaving the space smelling clean and inviting. After our remodel, there was dust everywhere, but their team took care of it all. They deep-cleaned baseboards, floors, cabinets, and counters, making everything shine like new. The young ladies that cleaned our home were very thorough and very sweet. They did a great job and they were so pleasant. This cost of this service is a on the steep side for us, but I love that they are bonded and I don’t have to worry about anything. They are well trained and are proud of a job well done.
