Methodist Patient Parking Garage

7'4" height limit. If you have a special needs designed vehicle over this height you are parking a long ways away. The entrance and exit on the south side of the lower level and south facing parking spots would appear to be able to accommodate my vehicle but the limit bars are placed outside the entrance, rather than at the bottom of the ramps going to the upper levels. I suppose some unqualified drivers who don't understand the limitations of their vehicles and shouldnt be driving them anyway would try to go to upper levels causing damage. I do not feel this hospital and its parking structure, or its patient loading and unloading policies fully support disabled or differently abled patients and their support vehicles or care takers. Security is lax on the garage. After all who breaks into cars at a hospital? When my vehicle was broken into, the guy was still rummaging though it. Security chased him off.

It’s visitor friendly, but when you are taking a patient there not so friendly. Tight spaces and not convenient to walk to the hospital
