Their electronic system DOES NOT WORK. Very inefficient (many people waiting) and they did not properly check out my vehicle, so I was getting texts for days telling me that my car was still parked in the garage. Even though I already had paid and taken my car home after only 3 hours of parking. I had to call Metropolis customer service because it said I owed over $100. Even though I had paid my parking fee before picking up my car. Avoid this garage - they have no idea what they’re doing.
Sometimes, you don't have to integrate apps, tablets, and other technology into something like valet parking. The old physical ticket system isn't broken.... Frustrating experience, while the guys were great, the "high-tech" plate reader misread my plate so they couldn't find my car for 20+ minutes. Then, I was double charged and couldn't get a hold of anyone to resolve the issue.
Nice roomy spots in an ultra clean garage. Super polite and safe valet staff too!
We left our car here for about 12 days while we were exploring the Maine coast via a cruise ship. The attendants were very friendly and personable, we just paid through the nose at $1 per hour to get our car back...lol !! No issues at all, car was in same condition at pick-up as we left it. Garage was convenient to the cruise ship dock, that is why we picked it, no complaints about security. Would park here again if we are ever in the area.
Byfar the worst experience EVER! I am not from the area and struggled to find parking. I opted for parking in this garage which is only valet. I went around the corner to pick up a dress and returned after 40 minutes. After handing over my claim check I overheard the young man say they misplaced my key. Then, the two men start asking me what my car looked like and when did I check in. I started to feel uneasy and anxious as they question me in this small dark space which is where they keep their keys and check vehicles out. Once they realize they can't find it they proceed to help other customers. After 25 minutes of waiting, I'm now enraged and scared. They have their "manager" also known as Gregory begin to look for my car. In the end, one of the valet men found my car after being asked
