Metropolitan Forestry is the BEST for taking care of your trees. We contacted them to evaluate why our magnolia had suddenly died, and to check the health of our other trees. The arborist was very thorough in his explanation, showed how the tree had died naturally. We contracted with them to take down the magnolia and to plant a new korean lilac in our front yard. The lilac was growing well and blossomed in the spring of 2025. Then in the summer, it started looking sad, and we decided it needed more attention and water, and low and behold, Metro Forestry came out that very afternoon to check on the tree. I highly recommend Metropolitan Forestry Services. They recently took down a dangerously located 65-year-old huge tree that was hanging over our house and was between our power lines. Cody and his team were first class professionals and took the utmost care to perform their services in a safe, efficient and effective manner. He communicated the process and procedures with me prior to starting and they took extra care to protect my lawn, house and surrounding trees and fence during the removal. His team worked seamlessly and cleaned up all of the debris and left the site thoroughly spotless. I am extremely grateful to them!

The Metropolitan Forestry team is very knowledgeable and informative. They are friendly and down to earth. Metropolitan Forestry Service is very professional, efficient with reasonable competitive pricing. One item they (Metropolitan Forestry Service) can improve on is their client communication. Their scheduling is tight, as expected, but a "heads up" when they are coming out to complete the task, would immensely improve the communication. In the two occasions that I've used their service, they have merely shown up at door the day of. No email, phone call or text. They did call, one time, to inform that they were on their way. This is not a heads up.

I have used Metropolitan Forestry Services a number of times for tree planting, stump removal, tree trimming, and dead tree removal. They have always provided superior service. They followed up on planted trees in the past to give advice on watering and care months after planting. However, I had $5000 of trees planted this past spring, and have been disappointed. I arranged for the planting last fall, but they gave me 2 days notice before they came to plant. This was not enough time to call the utility company and have my yard marked, resulting in a cut line. There was no follow-up after the planting, and I have lost two $600 trees. Their prices are a bit higher than other area companies. I don't know what's happened to this company. We had an arborist come out and look at our trees last year and give some recommendations, and it was super helpful. It took a long time and multiple rounds of follow up from us to get the actual tree trimming done, but the people who did that work were also excellent, very professional and knowledgeable, and we were very happy with the work they did. The front office seems to be the problem. We are having significant problems with a few trees, and we have been reaching out repeatedly since July. It is now November. We have emailed and called, and we get responses that "hopefully we can get someone out in the next few weeks." Then we hear nothing.
