Mid Atlantic Roofing installed the metal roof on my newly constructed home in 2008. From all appearances, the roof looked and performed great with no visible leaks. I had no reason to use the five year warranty. In fact, Mid Atlantic is still using a photo of my house in all their postcard direct marketing campaigns. Fast forward to Nov 2018 when my painter found two fascia trim boards with moisture rot that needed to be replaced before finishing the painting work. Upon further analysis, I came to discover that metal roofing parts were not properly installed to the manufacturer's specification in two complex valley locations thus causing the water penetration.
