Contrary to the negative reviews I can only say good things about Midgett Realty. We recently rented and our house was immaculate. When we did run into a couple of items needing attention the office responded promptly. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous in the as well. We have been coming to the Outer banks for many years and have utilized other rental companies. We do not plan to use any company other than Midgett from here on out!

Never had a problem. We rent through Midgett every time we go to Frisco (4-5 times now). And to "Google user" from 4 years ago... I don't think you really have a leg to stand on if you're admitting to NOT spending the extra 100 bucks for trip insurance, which is for weather-related cancellations.

Third trip to the Outer Banks. Our previous 2 trips & rental companies were wonderful. No issues with the rentals at all. They were clean, spacious & as advertised. This year we used Midgett Realty. Nightmare! Unit Condition: 1. Kitchen chair cushions food crumbs all over them. Table had food in the grooves on the 2 ends. No room for food storage, top of fridge layers of dirt and a 2" cockroach scurried across the floor, black mold in vent and wallboard above sink. 2. Living room, TV food stuck to the screen. White couch long human hairs on it, multiple pinkish/yellow stains. 3. Bedrooms, food on the floor, open salt packet, half-eaten bag of candy in a dresser drawer & wrappers on the floor, inappropriate books (for children) on the shelf, candy wrappers behind them, the lamp was in di

Broken deadbolts front and back doors. Hole in wall for 6 years according to guest book. Trash under beds and house. Trash in kitchen trash can rotting. Some Appliances broken. Dirty refrigerator. No Wi-Fi password. Poor Wi-Fi coverage. 14 and 27 inch tube tvs with built-in dvd. VHS in the living room if you would like to rent a tape. No screens in windows so don't open them. Screens are just piled in a closet. Mold on shower curtains throughout house. For 8000 a week peak season you could do much better. Stepping Stones house Frisco NC

Nothing but the best when we stayed at the Reunion house in Hatteras! It was perfect!
