All I can say about Joe Hatfield and his company is that everything was amazing. We had a pool built by an incompetent pool "builder" for our short-term rental in Branson and he completely botched the job. It left us with a huge eyesore and safety hazard and our rental income suffered greatly from it. In comes Joe, and he completely fixed everything and made this eyesore into a beautiful pool (all in less than 6 months)! This was a pretty big job too - new shell, new plaster, new patio, redo plumbing, etc. His pricing was fair and there were literally zero surprises at all from him. He always responded quickly when we had questions and kept us in the loop at all times. Now we have zero stress about the pool and we are already getting great new reservations in because we have a working poo

Our experience was a couple of years ago, but I never got around to writing the review. It was simply awesome! Joe was a great partner. I described verbally what I was looking to do, and he designed exactly what I invissioned for our outdoor kitchen and bar, adding in details I didn't think of like storage. At the end, we had a beautiful granite bar, amazing food prep counter, storage options for kitchen tools and charcole, and they even built a custom nest for our big green egg to be part of the design. Lastly, they identified the exact brick our house was built with, and built the base and framing of the kitchen and bar with identical brick. This made it look like it was built with the house. Unfortunately, our pool experience was less than poor. It was not good during or after. I won’t say anything more except, this is how the concrete has aged in 2.5 years. It’s not just one spot, it is around the entire pool. We reached out to Midwest about this last year, with no response.

Midwest outdoor concepts was simply amazing. When we decided to create an outdoor kitchen, all we had was a vision in our heads. Joe talked with us about our design, and then him and Sam went to work. Two weeks later we had a zoom meeting where they were essentially able to create digital images of our vision, and make suggestions and modifications in real time. Joe and Sam were amazing to work with! They took the design, and continued to make edits and suggestions until it was absolutely perfect. When it came time for construction, they walked us through every step, the timeline, what to expect, and if there was an issue at all, they were proactive in telling us what is possible and what is not. We contacted them regarding a new deck project - and had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment (ok, no problem). The morning of the appointment (about 1-1/2 hours prior) they call to say they are too busy to take on new projects. This should have been communicated much, much sooner - very unprofessional!! Makes you question their commitment when you do hire them...
