Edit: a week later, still no contact. Please people, dont do business with this guy. Edit: Response to "owner" You dont like my review? Have your employees do a better job. Please explain how you went above and beyond? My review stays as I have already attempted "proper channels." I have multiple text messages alone stating I will be contacted, and still to this day have not been. Terrible customer service. If my wife had not caught your crew ripping up our driveway with no communication, we would have been stuck for 2 days (even though it was quoted for 1 day) as there's one way in and out. Did a poor job of "repairing" damaged lawn after Consumers Power performed gas line repair in our neighborhood. I was told by one of his workers that they were going to put down sod like my neighbor received. However, only received very poorly done, lumpy, uneven, and rutted, with patchy seeding. Talked to Jake (owner) and he said it was out of his hands but he would contact Consumers Power via email (I insisted on being cc'd). That email was never received by me.

One of the staff - Leslie - was here on the last Monday of April, '24 to repair part of our lawn which was previously disturbed when Consumers Energy relocated their gas main in front of our house. Actually, someone from Mike's had been here four weeks ago for the same reason, but did an unacceptable job. Ergo, Leslie on the second try. I must say that his work was VERY good, and my wife and I were so pleased with his efforts. I will give him five stars, but not the previous one.

Update: They improperly built a retaining wall on my property. They did not back fill the gaps or base with stone, letting erosion continue/wash through it. They’ve also failed to establish grass for over 2 years. Edit for clarification: they performed the work for the City of Rochester Hills on my property.

Mikes Landscaping did a very nice job planting my new white pines and also did great job with hydro seeding my property. They were on time and got the job done when they said they would. The staff is very nice and knowledgable.
