Milzen Cabinetry

I've been going here for 10 years and it is my go-to cabinet supplier in the Bay area. Solid plywood construction instead of particle board. Good hinges and door slides. Easy to remove and adjust. Finish holds up relatively well. The kitchen designers are all at least pretty good and always open to your suggestions. Prices are reasonable, especially for what you get. Complaints from other reviewers about visible staples, etc have to do with poor installation. The toe kicks absolutely don't have any staples. It's a completely finished look if done properly.

I want to show you how bad the craftsmanship of Milzen Cabinetry is.I ordered  kitchen cabinets for my four kitchens in San Jose. Almost none of the hinges were installed properly.,As you can see from the pictures, Milzen's installer only put 2 out of 4 screws in almost all hinges.  There is one hinge with only 1 screw. Doors are not closed properly.  All doors all have to be readjusted. There are shelves without shelf legs. The installer forgot to put stickers to hide the screws. When I called Milzen Cabinetry and asked if I could get the screws, shelf legs and stickers so that I could fix the problem myself, the customer service asked me to drive an hour and half one way to the factory and get the screws, legs and stickers. I am warning everyone that you should never use Mizen Cabinetry

Yes, they are cabinets, so there's that. The drawers do open and close. The cabinet doors function. However, the finish and quality is quite low. Be ready to see so many staples on what should be a finished edge. Don't expect toe kick with finished edges or expect it to actually provide a finished look to the base. See the wall oven in their website home page - that's not real. They don't have a wall oven cabinet. The modification needed to their sink cabinet in order to try to accommodate a wall oven is over the top and leaves question about durability and stability. I see so many areas of unfinished permeable surfaces. That is not what you want in an inherently wet area like a kitchen. My GC insisted on these, and what a mess. Honestly, if price is a concern, I would go with Ikea. They

Bad personal customer care at the time u pick up gabinetes. The workers they not very helpful . the homeowner forgot said i have to pick up the yellow and pink recipes on different place i pull in to the pick up area the people ask for the pink recipe i said i don't have i ask where or what to do he just with bad manners i dont know . I understand that is the rule to pick up is fine but he can be more helpful not just is not my problem .
