We’ve worked with Mike McGuire of Mobtown Mechanical on numerous projects over the last 5 or so years in our 125-year-old row home, and he’s consistently outstanding. His work is excellent, his pricing fair, and his communication honest and straightforward. Mike takes the time to explain when a repair or modification is more complex than I realized, always with the goal of informing, not selling. If a request is too minor to justify a plumber’s rate, he’ll suggest hiring a handyman instead. When a project is high-labor but low-skill, he sends an apprentice or journeyman and bills accordingly—something I deeply appreciate. My hot water heater broke Friday night. I had to go out of town Saturday. By the time I got home Sunday the hot water heater was installed and is running great. Plus it comes with an 9-year warranty, so my hot water needs are going to be covered until 2030. I highly recommend Mobtown Mechanical

We hired Mobtown Mechanical to install a toilet for us. They were responsive, on time, and had fair pricing. Mike was respectful of our space, wore a mask while inside our home, and cleaned up after his work (including disposing of the old toilet for us).
