Our noisy furnace needed help. We searched for Factory Trained High Efficiency Boiler technicians and fortunately we discovered ModCon. Considering this furnace is relatively new technology we needed a professional that was up-to-date on this type of furnace. ModCon promptly returned our phone call and were able to see us the next day. Brett discovered the issue, gave the furnace a thorough maintenance service, and offered advice on maintaining our heating system. We are comforted to know we have a reliable, knowledgeable, and professional crew to keep our home warm through this New England winter.

Mod Con was exceptional! Luke and Henry were professional, knowledgeable and were able to explain our issues easily and effectively. Jen on the office side was also amazing. We have spent years trying to find someone to service our furnace. Everyone who has tried really tried but Mod Con 100% diagnosed the problems and resolved them! Pricing was fair! Highly recommend!!!

So awesome that ModCon was able to come and check on the heating system when things were so cold last week. However, I wasn't given the estimate beforehand and the technician spent ~5 minutes just confirming everything was working. The bill was over $300, and included a "trip" fee, even though the technician told me he was in the neighborhood. I'm certainly willing to pay something for peace of mind and was initially super grateful for Modcon - that is until I saw the bill for 5 minutes of work, which included no actual work - just a walk around. I know rates are high but that works out to over $3500/hour. On one of the coldest and snowiest days of the year (1-26-2026) my furnace shut down. Emailed Jenn who called me back asap and scheduled same-day service despite managing a ton of similar situations that day. Luke, the service professional, was great: he came as scheduled and got my furnace up and running. I've used ModCon for many years; their professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise has always been great.

We experienced a boiler failure during one of this winter's colder weekends. The technician talked me through a procedure that would keep an uninsulated water line from freezing before our system was up and running again. We were provided with a realistic time frame for when he would get to our home (and he arrived before then, with the needed parts to restore the boiler to operation). He also provided helpful information regarding the planned replacement of our 20-year + boiler later this year.
