Best AC/ HTG in Gadsde. My husband (Steve) and I have used them for years. I am a senior and they have always treated me with dignity and respect and timeliness. Have known the family for years and we depend on their expert service. Sherry the person that makes the appointments is an excellent and caring person and I thank her for taking care of me yesterday.

I needed a chimney cap made. The service is prompt. The cost was as quoted and very reasonable. Customer service is excellent. I would recommend this establishment to anyone needing metal work.

Cannot speak to actual service but was quoted $600 for a simple part change under warranty. This would be for labor alone. When asked why so much for a job that should take 1 man less than an hour, I was informed they have a 4 hour minimum fee. This was after already paying a $70 diagnostic fee just to get in the game. Sorry but this is not an acceptable business practice in the service industry, and rather dishonest. I wish them the best. Edit: In response to you, Sir, thank you for the specific details. Was having thermostat issues so we called to set up an appointment. Immediately was greeted with a friendly and professional phone call, they were also completely transparent about being backed up with prior appointments. However, they took our number down and had the first available repairman call us with any helpful tips on our AC issue. As promised a repairman was not only able to diagnose our issue over the phone but it was something we could take on ourselves. So a quick trip to Lowe's and a little bit of elbow grease, we were able to get our AC back to cooling consistently. My girlfriend and I couldn't be more satisfied or thrilled with the service and professionalism of Modern Heating & Cooling.
