Very good guy to work with on parts and thanks to him having the belt and idler for my dryer from 1986 was able to quickly keep my dryer going another nearly 40 years

We have an amazing experience with Modern Home Services. Our Kitchenaid refrigerator stopped working just after a year of purchasing. Modern Home Services gave us some suggestions over the phone to try before coming out. Unfortunately, they still had to come out to take a look at the refrigerator. When they came out they advised me to look at the owners manual which stated there was a two year warranty on the condenser (despite Kitchenaid previously telling it was not under warranty). We appreciate Modern Home Services honesty, quick scheduling, and knowledge!! Would definitely recommend and will be using in the future for any appliance service needs.

I'm sad to leave this review because I don't like leaving bad reviews for places. I know businesses often try hard and sometimes things don't work as expected. That said, I've used Modern Home Services multiple times over the years, but my last experience was upsetting and frustrating to the point I feel the need to write this. I have an older stackable unit that I debated repairing versus just replacing. I called and spoke with the nice guy who often answers the phone there. I thought he was the owner...he is not. I told him my situation and my debate about replacing versus repairing. He told me the part cost and estimated that the repair would total up around $200. We used these people before in the past but currently November 2024 they don’t answer the phone. They don’t return phone calls and when I explain to the person that they don’t return phone calls the technician himself got on the phone and started giving me a bunch of shit so this is very poor Customer service and a. Poor service company I don’t have any recommendations. I’m looking for Someone new myself but if you really want somebody who’s going to treat you nice and do the good work. Don’t call them.

Great place for appliance parts. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. They always have the hard to find pieces to fix our dishwashers, dryer etc...
