Montoya Brothers Painting

Lot of promises and games. 2 brothers came to estimate and go over scope of work. The job was a partial house interior. According to them they are "great listeners" but they screwed up what was getting painted and the 2 colors to be used. So I ran out of the paint and had to pay for more. Then they refused to do the final coat without the final payment! I have a deposit despite providing the materials myself. They started a least a day late and didn't stick to their schedule. Paint splatter and over-paint on the new wood floor. Huge missed spots under painters tape. I'd say it didn't go well. Pictures don't lie.

I have done multiple projects over the years and hired hundreds of contractors, and I never thought I would say that about a painting company! I recently had the pleasure of meeting Carlos who is very courteous and professional. I hired him and his crew to paint the interior of my house, and I couldn't be more impressed with their work! From the very beginning, Carlos came to give a quote for the job and took the time to understand the scope of work and our timeline which was very dynamic with 3 kids and lots of activities to coordinate. Not only did they handle the painting flawlessly, but Carlos also patched and repaired several holes I had from adding recessed lights into an old house with plaster and lathe walls so

My son referred me to Montoya painting after he had painting done at his house. I am so glad I called. I needed my ceilings painted and what a great job they did. From communication from the owner, covering up the furniture, covering the floors, actual painting and the clean up was excellent.

Montoya Brothers is the complete package! They do more than just painting. We needed drywall repairs on a recent leak and a stress crack in our dining room ceiling. They fixed it all, showed us digital images of the color on our walls, and kept the rest of the house spotless during the process. They also painted our outside house trim about a year ago, so clearly we’re happy repeat customers!
