This was our first home renovation and working with Monumental Construction was a dream come true. Vadim Matskevich is a gifted craftsman and excellent project partner. Our bathroom needed a complete renovation, and he did a meticulous job rebuilding a poorly constructed space. We found a true design partner with him. He helped us to think through ideas and avoid costly mistakes. He’s completely professional and works with skill and precision. His workspace set up was always neat and organized. The project cost was competitive with no surprises, and the result was worth every penny. I’d hire him again in a New York minute.

My husband and I have hired Monumental for two huge reno projects; first, to renovate our master bathroom, and just recently to convert a bedroom into a second floor laundry room and smaller sized guest bedroom. Vadim's attention to detail is matched only by my own perfectionism. He is reliable, diligent, trustworthy, and a skilled craftsman. Vadim is extremely responsive to questions and concerns, genuinely listens to what his clients want, and goes out of his way to make sure his clients are happy. We could not have chosen a better person than Vadim Matskevitch to remodel a very little bathroom in our old home (1930). He strove to keep my design ideas in mind and then carried them out meticulously. A true craftsman! He kept an open line of communication, quickly responding to my questions, his time of arrivals, etc - so important to a homeowner! And he knows and does it all! He carefully considered any obstacles, problem-solved, installed electrical and plumbing according to code, let me know what ideas worked, what didn't. But never did I feel like he was rushing through my job to begin his next one. He cleaned up every night too! I would recommend Vadim, along with his wife, Bruna, of Monumental Construction to anyone who wants top quality in their home renovation. Ten stars!

Hiring Monumental to renovate my bathroom was undoubtedly the right decision. Vadim is a true professional, a highly skilled craftsman and he did the job the right way. He’s a perfectionist with a methodical approach, good communication, respectful and super clean. It was not an easy job due to small, confined space, however the transformation of my bathroom is truly astonishing!
