I recently contacted Moore’s for a thermostat failure in my 3-year-old new construction home, and they delivered impressive same-day service. The technician was efficient, professional, diagnosed the issue quickly, replaced the faulty thermostat, and the repair has worked perfectly since—no further problems. However, the final bill was significantly higher than I expected for such a simple job on a relatively new system. It included a $40 service call fee (minimum), $139/hour labor (also minimum charge)… and even for 30 mins of work, I understand these minimum charges. BUT, then add a $50 warranty processing fee to handle the claim on the defective part. Tony was absolutely amazing. He was here from 8:30-6:30 working on my unit install and fixed a few problems that came up along the way. He kept a very positive attitude and was very sweet and explained everything to me.
