Had our Jotul stove go out. Called late evening and left a message on their machine. Promptly received a call back the following morning. They were able to send Justin out same day to look at it. Now that our vacation home is now our full time residence we called Morrill & Forbes Chimney to inspect our fireplace and chimney. Justin arrived on time with top hat 🎩 on at our door slipping on brand new booties and placing paper around the fireplace before he began work. He had all his tools ready to go and didn’t have the need to go back and forth to his truck. He did a thorough job, checked the gas flow, log display and burner coals then cleaned the glass Inside and out and was extremely neat and tidy. He then explained what he did, what he reported and then offered to go on the roof to check the chimney. We hired Morrel and Forbes to look at our gas logs fireplace insert. The customer service person assured that their techs service Valor fireplaces. I had to call as their worker was late, I understand they provide a service window, but it was already passed the window for the appointment. When they finally arrived the tech proceeded to move the tile backing of the insert causing even more turbulent air flow into fire box. They took a credit card before the visit and wouldn't make an appointment without it. After the worker finished moving around the fire box tiles and not correcting the issue he said he would go to the office and figure out how to completely fix the fireplace.
