As part of a house remodel and restoration, I required specialized contractor services to install a custom, wooden stair railing to replace the original that was removed by a prior owner. I am a reasonably competent DIY woodworker but recognized that this project required special experience and skill, especially since the component stair parts were very expensive. I could not afford to mess this up myself. I hired Morris Construction on the recommendation of the local building supplier who sourced the stair parts for me. While I had to wait a long time for Hugh Morris and his assistant DJ to be available, my patience was well worthwhile.
