Morse Moving and Storage

Moving season is coming up and I need to warn everyone about Morse Moving and Storage. Absolutely the worst moving company I've ever used! They damaged an entire bedroom set and scratched up several other items. When I went through the process of making a claim, the settled for literally pennies on the dollar. I literally tipped the movers more than I got back for trashing my belongings! Do not use this company!!

We originally chose Morse Moving because my parents used them and had a great experience, plus they had competitive pricing. Moving out went relatively smooth but it was the moving in that was terrible. They reduced their 7 man crew to 5 which essentially was more like 2 because there were only two men that worked while the other two placed things in the wrong rooms and complained about how long it was taking. As mentioned, there were several things/items placed in the wrong rooms and placed in places of convenience, pieces were missing from our furniture that they took apart, furniture items were scuffed up and not taken care of, and then they proceeded to charge us $1,000 more after the move. Terrible. We packed everything ourselves. It was in good condition. We paid for the insurance. Very expensive items were broken and lost. They denied the claims to cover it. Workers were drinking and smoking weed. We move every few years, so lots of experience. Worst of the worst.

Terrible experience. The guy (John Bishop) who came initially was very nice and responsive throughout, but it ended there. The coordinator was beyond useless and their crew didnt take care packing furniture - at least 5 things were broken on arrival and lost my vacuum. Then they denied claims. The coordinator was beyond useless and gave constantly inaccurate updates - eventually movers arrived 2 weeks past when I was told.

Just used their service. I have moved several times and was very impressed. Tom and Robert were very professional, very careful with items, and arrived on time. Beyond expectation put every thing together. If you want a move with no stress I highly recommend the company.
