Mountain Top Appliance Service

I paid Mark Atkinson (Mountain Top Appliance) $376 on January 5, 2026, for a freezer part and installation. Every two weeks I’d check in on things. I got ‘Do in anytime.’ as a reply. After a month and a half of no part and various excuses related to health of a family member, I requested a refund. Communication was difficult throughout. After pressing for my money, I was told a refund check was mailed on Feb. 25. I waited seven days, but no check arrived. When I followed up, Mr. Atkinson offered to "stop payment” and bring a check. Based on the pattern of behavior, I informed him I would only accept cash. Provided a partial refund because he decided to keep the diagnosis fee. Would not recommend.

Mark is amazing. He came out within a few days, confirmed the problem and ordered the part right away. He came a few days before Christmas so we could have our oven working before family visits, said it was his third oven that day!

We were lucky to call Mountain Top. Other companies wanted as much as 4 days to come and check our washing machine. When we called at around 5:00 on a Friday he had 4 calls ahead of us, but he still came out and had it squared away in an hour.

How refreshing. Mark ALWAYS calls me back! Mark ALWAYS shows up! He's reasonable, dependable, knowledgeable. More than once, Mark has saved me money by telling me a repair would cost me more than buying a replacement appliance. Who does that!? An honest repairman like Mark that's who. I highly recommend Mark at Mountain Top Appliance!

Mark was getting ready to go on vacation but he prioritized my family when our dishwasher went out. We were so grateful he worked us in his already busy schedule. He has helped us with multiple appliance needs. He is very knowledgeable. Thank you Mountain Top Appliance.
