I had a very good experience with Mr. Appliance of Charleston. Scheduling was easy, the technician Malinda arrived on time, and he diagnosed the issue quickly. She explained everything clearly and completed the repair the same day. I felt the service was honest and professional. I would absolutely recommend them.

We made an appointment on 1/13 for 1/19 for help with our microwave. Technician was scheduled to arrive between 3-5 and we provided them with the model and serial number of our microwave. Technician arrived within the timeframe only to walk in and say “I wish they would have told me it was a wall mounted unit - I need a second person with me.” We indicated we provided the model and serial number and he just said “yea, there’s nothing in my note.” He was gone in 10 minutes with no work done or us any closer to a resolution. But everyone’s time was spent wasted. Do not recommend.

Great overall service in fixing my refrigerator. Easily set up an appointment and the technician arrived within a few days and quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained all the issues and what was required to resolve the problem. The technician returned within a few days to install the parts. Very professional. Would highly recommend.

I called this company based on high score on reviews. I called for a repair to my Kitchenaid refrigerator that was leaking into the two drawers under the fridge portion and the freezer in the bottom, leaking out bottom. The repair person showed up timely but when he saw my fridge he stated they don’t repair these due to they are not very good products and have electrical issues. He says if he were to try to look into problem it could cost $4k. The day prior the light went out in my microwave so I said well can you fix this. He takes about 10 minutes and the says it’s working now. So I ask well what if it stops after you leave - he replied well then I need to schedule 1/2 days with of work and get parts and it will cost three hundred (cannot remember dollars). Malinda showed up on time, was pleasant courteous and kept me informed while she troubleshot the heavy vibration of the dryer. She found a damage blower fan blades cause by squirrel that got in to the exhaust section of the dryer (yes, a squirrel 🐿️). Mr Appliance had the order the fan blade but did get it in a couple days replaced it. The heavy vibration fixed 🤓. Malinda was on time each time she came by, was personable and considerate kept me informed on her progress. Promptly went to work to alleviate the problem with the dryer. I plan to use Mr Appliance again for any other appliance problems a may have. It took 2 visit to fix the dryer, but that understandable because the dryer was 23 years old , and the problem part was not a common issue. Thank you Malinda for getting my dryer work
