Had them come out a couple months ago because last winter our furnace would just shut off, they came out and did absolutely nothing, the kid he sent knew absolutely nothing about our furnace he told us if the problem wasn't happening at the moment that he couldn't diagnose the problem even though i told him i had to reset the breaker and press the reset button for the pilot to come back on. It kicks out in the middle of the night.... kinda hard to plan for it to mess up during the day when its completely random. Trying to prevent problems before they happen. Our furnace has now kicked out 5 times this winter and as of this morning we once again dont have heat and will be forced to schedule an emergency visit because unlike before... Dan Lavendure from Mr. Furnace recently replaced our oil burning furnace after 47 yrs of use having been serviced by Mr. Furnace during that time. The new installation was more work than I ever expected it to be having to remove and reinstall in a basement with limited stairway access. Dan showed up with a necessary crew of 4 people for "muscle power' and completed the swap to a new efficient model in short time. I was amazed at how well the crew worked together as team. Never seamed to be anyone just standing around looking to fill in time. Everyone just kept on doing what was necessary. Thank guys for a job well done.

We have needed a tech to our house twice this winter. Both times they arrived promptly. When we needed to replace the furnace they offered to get us heaters for the night as we would be without heat. They were great at letting us know our options for getting a new furnace and gave suggestions on how to finance it if needed. They had a new furnace the next day. They took out old furnace and had new one installed and running in one hour and fifteen minutes. We will recommend them to any one in need of furnace work.

We had Mr Furnace come the end of October for a preventative service call. They cleaned Furnace and installed a new blower. Our Furnace is a dual fuel Furnace, electric and gas. When the electric company switched us to propane the Furnace would not work. We called Mr Furnace about the problem as we had no heat. This was the beginning of December, a little over a month since they had serviced it. There was a port for the exhaust fan pressure switch that was blocked. He cleaned it and the furrnace worked. He sent us a bill for $112. One would think that this part would of been checked and cleaned at the preventative service call. We were surprised to get the bill. We called him and left a message about our reason for calling. He did not return the call. We called again and this time after i

I called kootasca because we needed a replacement furnace. Unfortunately a guy came out said everything was working great. He left the drain line going into a will hole. None of this was acceptable. The drain line got clogged caused it to be totally rusted out and non functional the owner was able to get it temporarily working to survive the night. Now we have no furnace and they billed the non profit agency to do nothing. Extremely disappointed and now I’m searching everywhere for a used furnace but all of them are outside the amount of money we have!
