I agree, that guy is very very arrogant and he chooses to be this! He obviously has a dislike or stigma towards Americans! He tells me, “so you’re a Veteran huh?” Because I was using my VA Home Loan! Then he went on bragging about his tenure in the British Military! Bragging about his missions in war zones! My wife and the Real Estate Agent remembered all the trash that was coming out of his mouth! I did not mention a word about my military career nor where I was deployed to! A true soldier is very modest, humble, and never talks or “brags” about his/her missions or deployments! I have deployed with British Soldiers, and had a few beers with them too in the civilian world, and they and everyone I met were low keyed, awesome to chat with and certainly not braggers either!!! Paul and his crew were absolutely amazing in our home inspection process. Anyone looking for a home these days knows the difficulty of finding a home in this market. Paul did a few inspections for us until we landed on the one and he was everything and more we could’ve asked for. He walks you through every step and is very thorough in his findings. I would like to reiterate the other reviews that state Dennis is rude, condescending and uses fear mongering techniques to rip you off. My advice before hiring Dennis (or any other inspector) is to fully understand what testing they will be doing and how much each test costs before they get to your house. Of course they will tell you they need to see your house and leave it ambiguous on the phone. That way they can rack up lots of tests and you have no choice to research what you are getting. I learned this the hard way after paying Dennis $1K for a brief 20 minute walk through my house. I later learned that these tests are all available on amazon and I could have easily done them myself. I'm a homeowner and they broke one of our window locks during their building inspection, but there has been no responsible reply from them. That's even nothing compared to what they have done to my sales. They made false or exaggerated claims, and completely scared a buyer away. For example, they pointed out that one board of the front porch floor hasn't been replaced and told the buyer that the entire porch floor is rotten! They said the roof was bad and the buyer will have to change, while there has been no leak for years and I had silver coated on top of it! The list goes on and on.
